Business sentiment among Korean companies for next month remained static or edged up slightly.
Data released by the Bank of Korea on Wednesday shows the business survey index of manufacturing firms stood unchanged for June from May at 84.
Business sentiment among non-manufacturing companies stood at 80 for June… up two points higher from this month.
The compnaies said they expect a decline in domestic demand, increased competition and economic uncertainties.
A reading below 100 means pessimists outnumber optimists.
