By now, most of America should be familiar with Deadpool, although everyone may not know what they’re getting into depending on what media platform they’ve seen advertised. As its February 12th release date draws nearer, the marketing team continues to work towards domination of billboards, dating apps, and any other method that can be thought up. Subversive movie billboards line cities with misleading images meant to jokingly suggest that Deadpool is a romantic drama. Those of you using Tinder to find true love can expect to swipe right for the titular character; although you shouldn’t expect a date any time soon. Deadpool opens in theaters this Friday.
