Hey Neil, I have a question. Will Artificial Intelligence overshadow digital marketing and SEO in coming years?

I don’t feel that Artificial Intelligence is going to overshadow digital marketing.

Artificial Intelligence is going to start being integrated into marketing campaigns, not what most of you guys are thinking about, and here’s what I mean.

You’re going to start seeing a lot of things integrated together, in which the technology and the intelligence is going to start dictating what people do in their life, more so by making suggestions, and they’re going to try to get companies to switch brands.

What I believe is going to happen is Google and Facebook, and a lot of these companies are going to power this technology, and they’ll also power the ads.

So, they’ll integrate with Sub-Zero, who will be the publisher, which is a fridge manufacturer, and Google will be the software vendor, and they’ll run the technology, and they’ll give Sub-Zero a kickback.

So think right now, you have a website, AdSense is running on your website, anytime someone clicks on your AdSense on your website, Google kicks you back a check.

That’s what will end up happening with offline products, and you’re going to start seeing artificial intelligence integrated into a lot of aspects from your life, and not only will it make your life more convenient, but they’ll start dictating what brands that you should end up buying.

That’s marketing. That’s what I see that’s going to happen in artificial intelligence.

How can you get in front of it? I have no clue, but it’s still early on.

In the next three, four years, we’re all going to have a better understanding of how we can start getting integrated into artificial intelligence and use it for marketing, but it’s still too early.

What you’re going see before artificial intelligence is more virtual reality in marketing.

That’s what I see that’s going to happen to market before artificial intelligence comes in there.

Now you can get groceries delivered to you.

Right now they have buttons from Amazon; they have those Tide buttons, you push it, boom, you run out of tide, automatically gets delivered to you and gets charged to your account.

Amazon even has it where you walk into certain stores, like in Seattle, there’s no one there, you can buy stuff, and they know it’s you, and you get charged for it.

Vous souvenez-vous d’avoir entendu cela? C’est l’un de ces morceaux légendaires de l’histoire de l’Internet qui se sont formés alors que la route était encore pavée et que nous nous frayions un chemin à travers le désert de ce qui était le World Wide Web original.
Bien que les temps changent et qu’AOL n’envoie plus de CD par la poste, nous pouvons quand même les remercier de nous avoir fait connaître notre adresse courriel et notre dépendance.
Ces jours-ci, nous avons remplacé ce message par des Tweets, des mentions J’aime et des mises à jour de statut, mais cela ne signifie pas que notre affinité pour le courrier électronique soit moindre. En fait, à cause du bruit des médias sociaux, on pourrait dire que la boîte aux lettres est devenue notre dojo virtuel, notre lieu de solitude parmi le chaos.
C’est pourquoi, en tant qu’entrepreneur, je crois que la création de campagnes de marketing par courriel réussies n’a jamais été aussi importante que maintenant. Mais il y a un problème. la plupart des gens ne savent pas comment le faire correctement. Donc, dans le but de promouvoir les meilleures pratiques et de vous aider à réussir en tant que propriétaire d’entreprise, revenons à l’essentiel et parlons de la façon dont une excellente campagne d’email est construite, à partir de zéro.
Vous êtes dans leur maison
Les gens sont inondés d’interruptions, de pitchs et de publicités partout où ils ont l’air, et même si vous pensez que le vôtre est spécial, il y a de fortes chances pour que le lecteur ressemble au reste. C’est pourquoi il est important de se rappeler où vous êtes et d’utiliser vos bonnes manières.

Entrer dans la boîte de réception de quelqu’un, c’est comme être invité à dîner chez lui. S’ils vous demandent de retirer vos chaussures, vous le faites respectueusement. C’est la même chose avec le marketing par courriel, alors avant de commencer, je voudrais simplement vous rappeler d’être toujours à votre meilleur comportement et de vous rappeler … vous êtes chez eux.

Phase I: Obtenir la permission
Bien sûr, aucune campagne par e-mail n’a jamais été créée sans l’autorisation de démarrer, donc nous devons d’abord nous concentrer sur la création d’une liste de diffusion importante.

Vas-tu me spammer?
À quelle fréquence allez-vous m’envoyer un email?
Est-ce que j’aurai des réductions?
Est-ce que je vais avoir une première fissure à votre bêta?
Voulez-vous m’envoyer des offres pertinentes ou plus indésirable?
Ce sont les types de choses que vous devrez aborder si vous voulez avoir du succès dans la phase 1. Il suffit de poster “entrer votre email pour les mises à jour” ne va pas être excité de le faire. Au lieu de cela, envisagez de partager des détails:

You’ve been super successful over the years with all your different businesses.

I don’t know if I’m successful, but that’s what some people think.

To your fan base, you’ve reached a level that I think everyone’s looking to achieve, but I think a lot of people struggle with confidence, believing themselves, that they can get there in the first place.

I’m curious, have you ever struggled with any confidence issues yourself as you’ve risen to this level?

Honestly, as I’ve mentioned, I don’t think I’m successful.

But I did one thing when I was young. I just wanted to be better off than what I was. That was my only life mission, if I can take care of my parents one day, that would be a plus.

I just want to be better off, and I hated doing things like picking up trash and cleaning restrooms. I took it with the mindset that I’m just going to try my best to generate income and do whatever it takes to succeed. I didn’t know what I was doing. I was young, I was foolish, I was naive, and being naive helps, because when you’re ignorant, you don’t know how the world works.

I’m not saying I know how the world works now, but I have a better idea than when I was 15 or 16.

I took the mindset that I’m just going to put my best foot forward and try to get better every single day.

I made a lot of mistakes, I kept learning from them, and I tried to avoid making the same mistake over and over again.

And what’s got me to where I am today in life, and what will get you to where you want to be in life, is one simple thing: if you avoid making the same mistakes over and over again, eventually, you’ll know what NOT to do.

If you avoid making the mistakes that you shouldn’t be making, what’s left?

Nothing?

If you started a business, and you continually make mistakes, but you learn from them, and you stop making those mistakes, and you know what not to do, what happens, what’s left?

Success.

Why is there success?

The chances of you making new mistakes will go down because, naturally, if there are a hundred mistakes that you made, and you learn from them, you’ll start doing things that are the “right things.”

You may not know what these right things are, but you’ll stumble upon them. It’s just probability. If you keep making mistakes, and you avoid making the same ones over and over again, which means if you make another mistake, it’s a new one that you haven’t experienced in the past, eventually you’ll also start doing some of the stuff that’ll make you grow.

That’s how I got to where I am in life.

I’m not smarter than most people. I didn’t get the best grades when I was a kid, at least compared to my sister.

But I just kept at it, I never gave up, and I learned from my mistakes.

Even you guys, all you guys watching, if you avoid making the same mistakes over and over again, and you learn from them, eventually you’ll know what not to do, which leaves you with one simple thing: the stuff that you should be doing.

And there’s no quick solution.

People don’t just go from nothing to hero, and all of the sudden are super-successful. It takes years.

Seth Godin, Guy Kawasaki, Gary Vanderchuck, even me.

I’m not as big as many of these guys, but I’ve just been doing it for so long.

Uber wasn’t an overnight success.

A lot of these businesses that you’re seeing, you’re hearing about them now, but they’ve been around for a long time.

Everyone’s about this crypto craze, Bitcoin, Ethereum. They weren’t overnight successes.

Bitcoin’s been around for a while, but it’s recently exploding.

It’s not like it was huge when it first came out. For a long period, it was flat.

The point I’m trying to make is you’re not going to be an overnight success.

That’s okay, learn from your mistakes, avoid making the same ones over again, and eventually, you’ll be left with what you should be doing.
