Whether we talk about a mixing or mastering technique, a new compressor, a new eq or a new plugin, if analog is better than digital, if plugins are better than hardware, you will run into some common stereotype that if you fail to recognize will make you spin your wheels when trying to learn the art of mixing and mastering, or when you’re trying to decide what to buy next for your studio.
