The Cherokee Nation has filed a civil lawsuit in a tribal court against some of the largest prescription opioid distributors in the world, accusing them of aggressive marketing in tribal territories. In recent years, opioids have left a trail of death through some Native reservations. RT America’s Brigida Santos reports.
