Blizzard ran an ARG (Alternate Reality Game) for a new character addition to Overwatch by the name of Sombra. Meanwhile, numerous information inconsistencies on the Diablo franchise caused a similar level of interest and speculation. One of the two events bore fruit, and the other disappointed fans. I wanted to talk about the difference between the two reveals and the lead up to them in order to showcase just how important communication is in PR and Marketing.
