A viewer asked me why I do affiliate marketing, wouldn’t it be more profitable selling an item myself?
Absolutely and I do sell products myself. If you watch my videos you know I’m not a huge fan of drop shipping. I prefer buying and holding my own inventory for a number of reasons.
That said I still partake in affiliate marketing. Why? I already have networks of websites, blogs and social media sites setup and I do push and promote my own produts but why not add some affiliate marketing to the mix and make some additional revenue since I already have the networks and means of promotion setup.
Many people may be used to low paying affiliates but Ali Express in some categories pays as much as 50%, many sellers don’t make margins like that and I gurantee you drop shippers aren’t making margins like that, so that’s why I do it.
I do sell my own products and it is better money, but affiliate money is good too and it’s a great way to test a new niche without having to buy inventory and setup a site.
