Evolution of marketing | Hindi

Marketing concept has changed over the decades from “production orientation era” to “marketing orientation era”.

Production Orientation Era : Companies worked on the concept of mass production and made product available at a very low cost which customers could afford. Customers preferred products which are highly affordable.

Product Orientation Era : The aim changed from production to product, i.e customers used to sell the product by labelling it by a name. For eg basmati rice,tata salt,etc.

Sales Orientation Era : Salesman used to ring the door bell to aware you about the products they have and try to convince you to take the product.

Marketing Orientation Era : here customer is the boss. Compamies created product as per the need of the customers, which made the relationship between them stronger.
