Có thể nói đây là một trong những cuốn sách mà những ai mới chập chững nhập môn Marketing nên có trong tủ sách của mình. Về phần hình thức, phải công nhận bìa của cuốn sách này rất đẹp, chất lượng in và mực in tốt. Cuốn sách khá là nhỏ gọn và nhẹ nhàng nên ta có thể lôi ra đọc bất cứ lúc nào. Tuy là sách khá mỏng nhưng nội dung thì không chê vào đâu được. Những khái niệm Marketing trong cuốn sách này rất hữu dụng và thực tế, phù hợp với nền kinh tế hiện nay. Nhưng sách vẫn chưa cho nhiều ví dụ để người đọc có thể hiểu sâu sắc hơn.

Quyển sách Marketing đầu tiên tôi đọc. Không dạy tôi những kĩ năng làm marketing nhưng dạy tôi những cách thức để tồn tại và phát triển kinh doanh trong một thế giới đầy rẫy sự cạnh tranh từ vô số thương hiệu.
“Marketing là cuộc chiến về nhận thức” là câu nói mà tôi sẽ luôn luôn nhớ sau khi đọc hết quyển sách này, những ví dụ kinh điển, thực tế nhất được Al Ries – jack Trout trình bày và phân tích rất dễ hiểu, làm sáng tỏ vấn đề mà các quy luật đặt ra.
Dù làm kinh doanh nói chung hay marketing nói riêng, những quy luật này hoàn toàn có giá trị rất cao, đọc và liên tưởng đến những tình huống ngoài đời mà chính chúng ta gặp phải hằng ngày, sẽ thấy rằng những quy luật này đúng là những quy luật bất biến.
