Das Kliemannsland muss größer werden! Zumindest was die Reichweite angeht. Aber das ist für unsere tapferen Recken Fynn, Hauke und Brian (aka. Joakim, Janikwa und Bernd) eine Kleinigkeit.

Die Jungs haben sich eine wahnsinnige Guerilla-Marketing Strategie ausgedacht. Was? Gorillas? Nein, Guerilla. Das heißt quasi unentdeckt und vielleicht hin und wieder ein bisschen illegal. Dafür werden gebaut / geklaut: Eine Litfasssäule, Bänke, Luftballons, eine Bande, ein Banner, Rosen und Flyer. Alles in rosa versteht sich.

Zuallererst wir gebastelt und verkleidet, denn unentdeckt bleibt es sich am leichtesten in rosa Pullis und mit Strumpfhosen über dem Kopf. Dann brauchen wir Luftballons! Packungen in denen nur rosafarbene drin sind gibt es leider nicht, deshalb ist es am einfachsten alle aufzureißen und nur die rosanen rauszusuchen. Danach kommt dann noch Helium in Ballons und Münder und Litfassäule und Bänke werden aufgestellt.

All das scheint für die Polizei kein Problem zu sein, doch Sticker auf den Nummernschildern gehen absolut nicht! Dann kann es aber problemlos weitergehen. Rosen werden verteilt und Banner werden unter größter Anstrengung aufgehängt, bevor wir am Ende auch noch Luftballons mit Flyern und Gutscheinen steigen lassen.

According to the United Nations, 26,000 unaccompanied minors crossed the Mediterranean to Europe last year, most of those coming from sub-Saharan Africa were Gambians.

In the past three years, almost 15,000 people lost their lives trying to reach European shores.

Undeterred, young men and women continue to take this route in what the UN’s describes as the biggest humanitarian catastrophe of our times.

The UN estimates the illegal trade of smuggling people to be worth more than bn, and it is booming.

Despite joint efforts by police forces from Europe and Africa, few smugglers have been arrested or prosecuted.

Mohammed Lamine Jammeh, also known as L-Boy, help many execute this journey. For many, he is a hero. Families save up for years and take loans in order to send one of their children on this journey.

But who profits from this? Do these young men and women know the risks they are taking? How much do they pay for this journey?
