Quallity vs Quanity on YouTube is a huget conflict people have. Quality over Quantity is an oversimplification, especially considering the YouTube Algorithm favors Quantity over Quality unless Quality is Watchtime and Session Time.

The reality is that you need both. From YouTube’s point of view you quanitity because that shows consistency and it will give them enough data to decide on the Quality of your video based on whether an audience continues to watch it for as long as possible.

From the standpoing of improvement Quantity is more important that the result you produce because you can’t get good or make quality content with out learning an efficient process and high level execution, you learn to draw well by drawing poorly over and over until you improve. Focusing on video quality when you are getting started ignores the simple fact that you won’t produced quality before you’ve reached a certain threshold of practice.
