Les alicaments : entre santé et marketing
Depuis des années, les alicaments ont envahi les rayons des supermarchés. Leur promesse : être enrichi en fibres, minéraux, calcium ou vitamines. Ils seraient donc bons pour la santé et pourraient même prévenir l’apparition de maladies. Peut-on pour autant se fier aux allégations santé quand elles proviennent de l’industrie agroalimentaire ? Pour aider à y voir plus clair, l’autorité européenne de sécurité des aliments (EFSA) contrôle depuis 2006 les promesses des marques. Et dans ce domaine, l’EFSA a fait le ménage de fond en comble : 80% des allégations nutritionnelles et de santé mises en avant par les industriels jusqu’au début des années 2010 ont été rejetés. Résultat : les marques doivent piocher dans l’une des 222 allégations de santé listées par Bruxelles pour construire leur communication. Face à cette contrainte, certains groupes, à l’image de Danone, ont préféré prendre les devants et supprimer de leurs étiquettes les promesses santé, comme c’est le cas avec son alicament phare : Actimel.

Why is storytelling so important in marketing? At some level or another, we all want to connect, and stories offer a number of ways that you can connect your brand with your current and potential customers.
The stories behind your brands or your products or even your marketing campaigns provide the basis by which people can understand not only your purpose, but the origin of your purpose… in essence, why your brand exists.
This means that your brand story is a crucial part of the development of your brand persona. It can bring your brand to life, communicating an ongoing journey that each of your customers can join.
Your brand story is a means by which we can connect with you. It’s the human element of what otherwise might be considered only an institutional entity.
Because it’s so important, your brand story should tell the journey of how your brand is traveling from where it once was, to the place where it can connect with your customers.
So when you communicate your brand story, create space for your customers to join you on your journey.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte received several business executives in a courtesy call that included Ramon Ang (CEO of San Miguel Group of Companies), Beau Kuok (Kuok Group of Companies and Vice Chairman of Shangri-La Group of Companies), and other business groups based in Singapore.
The President was accompanied by Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez during the courtesy call.
In his speech, President Duterte mentioned that as an assurance to the investors who plan on investing in the Philippines, he promised a corrupt-free country. He also vowed that all public documents needed by the investors to comply with the country’s business requirements would be provided on time by the concerned government departments.
“We are advancing growth by further intensifying two-way trade and commerce. We are expanding the opportunities for investments to flourish in both our countries,” President Duterte said.
