In this week’s training video, Eric Worre pushes entrepreneurs to let go of the word “need” and instead take on self-independence. As one of Eric’s mentors, Jim Rohn, once said, “Life doesn’t respond to need. Life responds to deserve.” Not many people want to admit that they are dependent upon something or need someone in order to find true success. The future and the now depend on entrepreneurs to be different and most importantly to think different.
Work harder on deserving something than needing something all the time. Eric uncovers the truth that many people are very needy in network marketing. They need someone to tell them what training and support to get to grow their business. They need constant support from their upline. Needing is an employee’s mindset, not an entrepreneur mindset. Snap out of the employee’s mindset and make things happen for you and your business. Get fired up!
Eric tells us to say, “Listen. I don’t need you, I’m already going to make it happen on my own. I might call on you as a resource, but if you’re not available, you’re not an excuse for my lack of achievement.” Become the self-starter that you know you are. Do not rely on your upline or your downline to create success. Set goals, seek more training, seek the knowledge on your own to become successful and lastly seek out great mentors. Spring into action, take initiative in your own life and do not wait for permission to find it. You don’t “need” permission. Be the person that creates success through hard work. You deserve the best to be the best.
Eric encourages every person to enable the word strong. Strong is confidence and confidence is attractive. Be someone that deserves, not someone who needs. It’s time to walk away from the employee mindset and start thinking like a true successful entrepreneur who will create it when it doesn’t exist. No problem is ever too big when you have the capability of changing your mindset.
