Use Images- We’re visual animals. Be sure to include images in your emails so can instantly grab your readers’ attention and draw them in.
Include a “call to action” — Decide what you want your readers to do – and give them an incentive to do it. Positioning is important here so make sure that the button or link you want them to click is front and center.
Use a bright color to mark links—and make sure to link that primary call to action. Some studies have shown that red links tend to be more clickable. Less is more here though, a lot of bright colors will fatigue the contact and may not be very aesthetic, a couple of bright links will do.
Keep your most important content “above the fold” so people don’t need to scroll to see it – Again: Keep it short and clear – and if you need to write a lengthy email, make sure that the primary message is at the top. This goes for the call to action too, make sure it’s visible upon opening the email.
Yeah: That’s a lot of email marketing best practices to keep in mind, but all of this tweaking will help you get your email campaign just right so can nurture your customer relationships and boost your sales.
