Más que una actividad o una profesión aislada, hoy podemos observar toda una cadena de valor en la que se agregan diversos procesos, productos y servicios. Más allá del glamour de las campañas electorales y la publicidad gubernamental, la consultoría política tiene un propósito fundamental: mantener vigente el contrato social. Esta responsabilidad implica mirar a la consultoría política desde otro ángulo. Implica reflexionar sobre sus valores y lineamientos éticos, así como clarificar sus alcances y tramos de responsabilidad.

El consultor mexicano en comunicación política más sobresaliente de su generación, con más de diez años de experiencia, ha participado en 35 campañas políticas (presidenciales, estatales, departamentales, legislativas y municipales) en México, Ecuador, El Salvador y Colombia. Uno de los creadores del Método Compass® para el diseño de campañas electorales. Es Maestro en Ciencias Políticas y Sociales, consultor internacional en comunicación estratégica y comunicación política. Socio Director del Instituto de artes y oficios para la comunicación estratégica y profesor del Departamento de Comunicación de la Universidad Iberoamericana, así como de diversas maestrías y diplomados en la UNAM, UAQ y en la Universidad de Kino en el Estado de Sonora. Es coautor del libro “El Arte de la Guerra Electoral”, cuya segunda edición se publicó bajo el sello de Grijalbo en febrero de 2012. Fue director académico del diplomado ¿Cómo ganar la Guerra Electoral? en The Washington Center en Washington D.C.
